ExLines is an applicable superstructure of the MicroStation system which enables the user to make a list of the used line styles and their number (lines, line strings, curves, ellipses, shapes, complex strings, complex shapes and B-Spline curves) in the active design file in the MicroStation.
ExLines is marked by following properties:
The application finds the used styles of the linear objects (lines, line strings, curves, arcs, ellipses, complex strings, complex shapes and B-spline curves) in the MicroStation design file. At the same time it also shows the total number of the given line style.
The used linear objects styles might be found in the framework of each level.
Linear objects styles in the design can be compared with the styles accessible in one of the attached styles library.
It is possible to export the obtained information about the linear objects into a text file (*.csv easy portability into MS Excel). Before the very export the user has the opportunity to sort out according to the style, number of elements (lines, line strings, etc.) and do so ascending or descending. You can export the whole list or just the selected lines.
After the first start of the application there will be made the file exlines.rsc in the directory structure (the variable MS_DATA) of the MicroStation, in which all recently set values will be saved – it means after the next start of the application ExLines will the values stay the same as they were with the previous start.
Help of the ExLines application is available directly from MDL application ExLines on the internet.
ExLines is available for MicroStation V8i, PowerDraft V8i and Bentley Map PowerView V8i on the Windows XP/Vista/7/8 platform.
