DMC (Data Model Control) is an applicable superstructure of the MicroStation system that is determined to check the data model (level, color, style etc.) and it enables to correct it. It also enables to link database constraints with graphic elements in virtue of the database model.
DMC is marked by following properties:
The data model can be also previewed in its simplified version (index), it is possible to make a synchronization with the main dialog box of the application by double click.
Elements that do not correspond with the set data model are duplicated and displayed with the attributes defined by the user.
This application enables to correct the cell attributes and linear object attributes that are definitely defined by the data model. It is possible to highlight the corrected elements – analogous to display of faulty elements.
This application enables to make as much as 1100 settings of the element attributes.
This application enables to export and import the settings. The export/import file (*.csv) is possible to compile directly in MS Excel.

After the first start of the application there will be made the file dmc.rsc in the directory structure (the variable MS_DATA) of the MicroStation, in which all recently set values will be saved – it means after the next start of the application DMC will the values stay the same as they were with the previous start.
