AttachGG enables to make associations (cohesion) among plan elements by the help of graphic groups.
AttachGG is marked by following properties:
Association means, that if the elements are in the same graphic group and MicroStation is set up for the work with the graphic groups, transfer, deleting, copying etc. of one element in the graphic group calls out the same operation automatically for the other members of the same graphic group, this can be used e.g. at the association of the linear element and texts that are related to this element. If the MicroStation is not set up for the work with the graphic groups – association among the elements will not be applied.
Number of the graphic group is defined from the keyboard or it can be matched from the existing plan element let us say you can set the last number of the graphic group in the plan.
It is possible to set the graphic group for one element, for selected elements or for elements defined by a fence.
The function Navigator enables to pass through the MicroStation active design file and search the text and text nodes, which are not assigned to any graphic group.
After the first start of the application there will be made the file attachgg.rsc in the directory structure (the variable MS_DATA) of the MicroStation, in which all recently set values will be saved – it means after the next start of the application AttachGG will the values stay the same as they were with the previous start.
Help of the AttachGG application is available directly from MDL application AttachGG on the internet.
AttachGG is available for MicroStation V8i, PowerDraft V8i and Bentley Map PowerView V8i on the Windows XP/Vista/7/8 platform.
