Aprox is an applicable superstructure of the MicroStation which enables the approximation of one of the characteristic element coordinates, by the help coordinate of other elements, possibly with their exact (numeric) setting.
Aprox is marked by following properties:
This application enables easily to approximate coordinates x,y,z of the selected vector element in the main MicroStation plan.
The coordinates, out of which the approximation will be counted, may be defined by the help of the existing elements, possibly with their exact (numeric) setting.
The approximation can be made within the framework of one element ( a line string, a curve, etc.)
The user can define which coordinate x,y,z will be approximated and which will stay unchanged.
It is possible to approximate coordinates of these elements: a mark, shared mark, line, line string, curve, joint shape, text, text node, ellipse (including circles), and an arc.
The selected points (coordinates) of the vector element can be highlighted by the help of a vector circle or a dagger , their symbolization can be modified.
It is possible to export the coordinates of the selected element into a text file.
After the first start of the application there will be made the file aprox.rsc in the directory structure (the variable MS_DATA) of the MicroStation, in which all recently set values will be saved – it means after the next start of the application Aprox will the values stay the same as they were with the previous start.
Help of the Aprox application is available directly from MDL application Aprox on the internet.
Aprox is available for MicroStation V8i, PowerDraft V8i and Bentley Map PowerView V8i on the Windows XP/Vista/7/8 platform.
